Message from Rev. Claire Middleton

I was a seeker of truth prior to my teens and always will be. It has taken me on many a spiritual adventure. Each place was an opportunity to learn more about God, and my relationship to the Universe. About fifteen years ago, that search took me to First Church of Religious Science in New York City. I left that auditorium excited about the combining of science and God, and the intelligence that was being expressed.

It has taken that long, a move to Charlotte and a willingness to study and experience many changes in my life, to bring me to the founding of the Church of Light. In July of 2001, I completed my training for the ministry, and it has been a wonderful whirlwind ever since. I know that the time has come for this teaching that embraces the teaching of all great religions, because they have within them the same Universal truth. It is an answer to the many questions of who we are, how we can experience more of the good in our lives, tap into our spiritual power, live life more peacefully, lovingly, joyously, abundantly and wholly.

It is a "take responsibility" teaching in which you recognize your thinking and belief system and understand that changing limiting thoughts to the unlimited changes your experience. It is a working teaching. Every day we endeavor to be more and more mindful of who and what we are—God expressed.
